We Let the Dogs Out - Petpalooza Recap

September 12th was a day full of sunshine and mild temperatures-and FUN! It was time to celebrate everything dog and their humans. Many visitors, some from as far away as Wichita, came to Black Creek Park in Winfield to let their dogs play at the two temporary dog parks, participate in activities and contests, try their luck at the cake walk, bid on silent auction items, and check out the vendors. It was a success, with $1,500 being made for the shelter and 7 dogs finding homes at the adoption event at the park! Photos by Diana & Lane Russell and Kay Martinez of Matsufoto.
